WHAT IS LAS CRUCES COMIC CON?
Las Cruces Comic Con is a community-based pop culture experience for all that reflects today’s fandom. At Las Cruces Comic Con you’ll get to indulge in all your favorite fantasy, sci-fi, and other pop culture genres, such as comics, games, film, television, and more! You’ll also get to attend panels and workshops hosted by creative pros as well as get autographs and photo ops with your favorite creators and celebrities!
WHEN AND WHERE DOES LAS CRUCES COMIC CON TAKE PLACE?
The 2023 Las Cruces Comic Con dates are August 19 & 20. It will occur at the Las Cruces Convention Center in downtown Las Cruces, NM. The hours of operation are Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 10am-5pm.
HOW DO I GET AN AUTOGRAPH FROM A FEATURED GUEST?
Featured Guest’s autographs are offered at the sole discretion of each Featured Guests. Please note Featured Guests often charge a fee for autographs or offer photos and other memorabilia for sale that they’ll autograph at no additional charge. Their pricing is usually posted at their tables. We’ll do our best to publish these prices on the Event website as that information becomes available to us. We ask all attendees to please be respectful and courteous to the featured guests as they are taking time out of their busy schedules to meet their fans.
HOW DO I GET A PHOTO OP WITH A FEATURED GUEST?
There will be a professional Photo Op company that will take your photo with the featured guest and print it out on the spot. The Photo Op pricing and schedule for the featured guests will be published to the Event site. Photo Op prices vary from guest to guest.
DO I HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE TO MEET A FEATURED GUEST?
The length of the line to meet a featured guest will vary according to the popularity of that guest. Please understand some guests won’t have a lot of time to spend with each attendee. It is a balancing act between managing time with trying to have that guest meet as many fans as possible. When necessary, the Event will cap lines.
WHAT IS A Q & A PANEL AND HOW DO I ATTEND ONE?
Q&A panels are sessions that showcase a specific topic or featured guest. These panels provide a great opportunity to ask questions, learn things about the industry, or get inside scoops on the upcoming projects of creators or guests. Q&A panels are free to all paid attendees of the Event.
DO CHILDREN GET FREE ENTRY TO THE EVENT?
Children 2 years old and younger are free with a paid adult. Children age 3 – 12 may enter with a Child Day Pass. A Day Pass will be required for each day. Children age 13+ will be required to purchase a normal ticket.
MAY I WEAR A COSTUME TO LAS CRUCES COMIC CON?
Absolutely! In fact we encourage fans to dress in their favorite costumes at the Event! Las Cruces Comic Con is a safe nerdy environment where you can express your joy for all things nerdy with no judgment.
MAY I TAKE PHOTOS OR RECORD VIDEO AT LAS CRUCES COMIC CON?
Photography and video recording is permitted in most areas of the Event. Please remember to be respectful of other attendees, guests, exhibitors, volunteers, and facility staff. Some exhibitors and guests may request verbal or signed agreement for photography or video recording of their booths or during their Q&A panels. When taking pictures of others always ask first! Absolutely NO photography or video is allowed in Celebrity Row without prior written consent from Event staff. Anyone found violating this rule will be removed from the venue.
